FOR INDEPENDENT SHED DEALERS

Most shed lots are profitable by accident.

There are ten places a shed dealership makes or loses money. Score yourself in six minutes and find out which ones are costing you — and what order to fix them in.

You can't fix what you never measured.

Every dealer knows his lot. Very few know their margin per unit, their close rate, what a delivery actually costs, or what an aging shed costs them a month. This scorecord and my playbook solve that. It's the difference between a dealership that grows and one that only drives the dealer crazier.

Six minutes, and you'll know where you stand.

  • A score out of 100, weighted by what each category is actually worth to your bottom line
  • A 1–5 on each of the ten pillars, so you can see the holes at a glance
  • An estimate, in dollars, of what those gaps cost you in a year
  • A roadmap in the order the money says to fix them — 30 days, 90 days, the rest of the year

Free. No email capture. I won't add you to my newsletter unless you ask me to (which I do recommend). Print it or save it when you're done.

The Shed Dealer Playbook

The scorecard tells you where you stand. The book is the operating manual that helps you improve your position. All ten pillars describe in detail what "good" looks like in each one, and what closing each gap is worth in real dollars.

Also available at the booth — Shed Builder Expo, Knoxville, September 23–24.

Adam Whelchel

Who's behind this

I'm Adam Whelchel. I'm an accountant, and I built this because I kept watching good operators lose money in the same 10 places, and none of them could see it from where they stood. I look at your business through the lens of a business owner of 12 years and an accountant who has seen his clients try to build or sell their business without these pillars in place. I've seen clients hand over their business to managers; I've seen founders exit with smiles on their faces; and I've seen other owners either close the doors or keep working in the business every day, putting out fires. The difference between those outcomes lies in the details in this book, which I give away to my clients or sell at cost to anyone who wants it..
